COVID-19 Salon Procedure

Please find below details of the Sarah Louise Nails & Beauty 'COVID-19 Salon Procedure' for Clients which will be in place for when my salon re-opens from Monday 13th July 2020.

(NB: Please note this is subject to change depending on any updated Government Guidelines)

 

The Sarah Louise Nails & Beauty COVID-19 Salon Procedure MUST ALWAYS be followed.

Sarah Louise Nails & Beauty will apply the below COVID-19 Procedure to control the risk and spread of the COVID-19 Virus in the salon environment:

  • Follow any Government Guidance published.

  • As of THURSDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER 2020, ALL clients will be required to download the 'NHS COVID 19 APP' onto their mobile phone and use the app to scan my business QR code on arrival at the salon. This is an additional step in the Track & Trace programme that MUST be followed. The app needs to be downloaded via Play Store or Google Play BEFORE arrival at the salon and will officially launch for use on the 24th September.

  • Clients will be required to complete and submit the Sarah Louise 'COVID-19 Client Questionnaire'  A MAXIMUM OF 24HRS BEFORE their first initial appointment.  

  • *PLEASE NOTE* Questionnaires that are completed and submitted more than 24hrs before the clients appointment will NOT be accepted and the client will have to re-do the questionnaire and resubmit within the 24hr time frame.

  • A mini COVID-19 questionnaire will be undertaken with EVERY client before EVERY appointment before their service/treatment goes ahead.

  • Clients MUST arrive only at the time of their appointment. If they arrive early they will not be permitted to enter the salon until their appointment time.

  • Walk-Ins are NOT permitted. Bookings are 'Appointment Only'.

  • Clients are NOT permitted to bring children, relatives, friends etc to their appointments with them.

  • Clients temperature will be taken on arrival via a non-contact Radar Thermometer and the readings recorded on their client record card.

  • Clients MUST wear a suitable Face Mask to their appointment. If they do not have a face mask one will be provided.

  • Clients MUST wash their hands/use hand santiser gel on arrival to the salon.

  • Clients with long hair MUST tie their hair back for their appointment. Clients with short hair MUST wear a head band or similar.

  • NO cash payments will be taken. Contactless Card payments ONLY.

  • Mobile phones CANNOT be used during the appointment.

  • A protective screen will be in place for all hand nail treatments.

  • Sarah Louise will wear a suitable face mask, and disposable gloves at all times.

  • Sarah Louise will also wear a face visor for pedicures, massages etc

  • If you have an appointment booked and have symptoms of COVID-19 or  have recently been in contact with persons who have Covid-19 please contact the salon to rearrange your appointment.

  • Nail clients will be provided with a individual 'Client Nail Pack' which will be disinfected by the salon after each appointment and kept at the salon for that specific individuals nail treatments.

  • If you are not feeling well on the day of your appointment please contact the salon as soon as possible to re-arrange your appointment. 

  • Please DO NOT attend your appointment if you are unwell.

  • If Sarah Louise or any members of her household become unwell, clients will be contacted immediately and appointments re-arranged.

  • There will be a minimum of 30mins between each appointment to enable the salon environment and equipment to be thoroughly cleaned in-between clients.
